Creature Commandos is one of the most exciting shows that will appear at New York Comic-Con 2024, as the upcoming animated series is set to properly launch James Gunn’s DCU. 11 Dune: Prophecy

One of the biggest HBO shows that is in the works is Dune: Prophecy, the highly anticipated prequel to the modern Dune movies. The Dune: Prophecy panel at New York Comic-Con 2024 will feature the showrunner and many of Dune: Prophecy‘s cast members, meaning that it will be a big focus for HBO at the convention.
The most recent trailer for Dune: Prophecy was released in July 2024, and now that it has been a few months, it wouldn’t be surprising for a new one to drop at the New York Comic-Con 2024 panel. 10 Goosebumps: The Vanishing

One of the Disney+ series that will be appearing at New York Comic-Con 2024 is Goosebumps, with the first season having launched in 2023. Goosebumps: The Vanishing is the title of the show’s second season, with the adaptation of R.L Stine’s bestselling novels continuing when season 2 drops on Disney+ in January 2025.

It has been confirmed that Karate Kid: Legends will have a presence at New York Comic-Con 2024, with it getting its own panel. However, it hasn’t been confirmed if the panel will feature a first look at Karate Kid: Legends, something that many fans of The Karate Kid movies are hoping to see.
8 Lazarus

One of the most exciting anime of 2025 is Lazarus, which is set to release on Adult Swim’s Toonami block. Lazarus is directed by Cowboy Bebop director Shinichirō Watanabe and has action scenes designed by John Wick‘s Chad Stahelski, with this collaboration of talents making Lazarus an incredibly exciting project. The series is set in a world where a scientist learns that a miracle drug will kill everybody in three and a half years, leading to a mad dash to find a cure.
Adult Swim released a trailer for Lazarus back in July 2023, but nothing has been seen of it in over a year. Luckily, it has been confirmed that NYCC 2024 will feature a “special look” at the series during the Lazarus panel, which could mean another trailer is on the way.
7 M3GAN 2.0

BlumFest NYCC will be returning to New York Comic-Con 2024, and while it has already been confirmed that several Blumhouse movies will have a presence at the convention, M3GAN 2.0 is one of the most exciting ones. It has already been announced that the panel will feature “a look at the highly-anticipated M3GAN 2.0,” meaning that it is possible that M3GAN 2.0 could see its first trailer drop at NYCC 2024. A teaser would be a great way to begin to build hype for the sequel, with the film set to release in June 2025.
6 Mayfair Witches Season 2

The AMC horror series Mayfair Witches is returning for a second season, and its presence at New York Comic-Con 2024 means that another trailer could drop at the convention. Rick and Morty will be returning to New York Comic-Con this year, with the convention featuring a panel about the show’s upcoming eighth season. Rick and Morty season 8 is one of the most highly anticipated projects coming out of Adult Swim, although it has no trailer or confirmed release date yet. The series is set to return in 2025, and New York Comic-Con 2024 would be the perfect time to take a first look at the upcoming batch of episodes.
