The boat that was transporting 14 illegal immigrants was confiscated by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office on Friday after it was hit by another vessel and sustained damage to two of its engines.
Bazaelius Francois, 30, was arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated assault on a police officer during an argument that occurred this morning about 9:00 a.m. close to the Jupiter Inlet in Palm Beach County.
The migrants will be handed over to the custody of the United States Border Patrol, according to the sheriff’s office.
