Over the course of the weekend in Chicago, at least forty people were shot, and seven deaths were reportedly reported to the police on Monday morning. There were five people who passed away as a result of this tragedy, the youngest of them was only 14 years old.
Gunfire was heard at both a large gathering in the park and a street party. According to the authorities, two different gunshots resulted in the deaths of two individuals. One of the men was slain while sitting in his car at a stoplight, while the other was killed while strolling down the street.

Rayjohn Harshaw, 14, was the youngest victim of the weekend shootings. According to his family, he was looking forward to beginning his first year of high school on Monday. Rayjohn was the youngest of the victims.

On the city’s North Side, the victim was walking when a white SUV pulled up behind him. According to the police, someone inside the SUV opened fire, hitting the driver of the victim’s car many times. According to the police, they carried the guy to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, but he did not survive his stay there.
