32% off LG’s best OLED makes the gaming TV cheaper than ever

While I’m firmly in the PC gaming camp, I can’t thank PS5 and Xbox Series X/S enough for raising the bar. With an increase in demand for high refresh rate screens, TVs now play in the same ballpark as monitors, with leading features that enhance the experience of playing your favourite titles. Currently, LG OLED evo G4 is at the forefront of these gaming TVs, and a decent discount makes it the best price it’s ever been.

Slashing up to 32% off, the 65in model has fallen to $2,297 on Amazon US, which is $300 under its previous lowest. Skip over to my neck of the woods, and a similar deal drops the cost to £2,239 on Amazon UK. Availability is a little spotty on the continent, but you can check for any sales in your region by clicking the button below.

LG 65-Inch Class OLED evo G4

Powered by an alpha 11 AI processor, LG’s OLED evo G4 Series leads the way with a brighter 4K resolution screen, 120Hz native refresh rate, and Nvidia G-Sync Compatible adaptive sync.

Although I spotlight the 65in version, there are plenty of savings on other sizes. The 55in has fallen to $1,797, providing the lowest entry point yet for folks in North America, while the 77in runs for $3,497. It’s well worth snooping around to see how far your budget can stretch.

When Evo G4 first landed, the sentiment was that while LG stormed ahead of the competition, it hadn’t done enough to justify the premium price tag. With a swift adjustment, all these concerns are a thing of the past. Snap up the deal, and you’ll get a brighter, more vibrant, lifelike picture than most OLEDs alongside all of the brand’s staples.

As the first G-Series TV with a table stand, you can whip it out of the box and immediately enjoy its excellent gaming performance. It features a sub-1ms latency to keep all inputs sharp, AMD FreeSync and Nvidia G-Sync Compatible variable refresh rate, and up to 120Hz for smooth movement.

I’ve always found webOS to be among the nicest TV interfaces to navigate, with robust app support for all the main streaming services. Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Disney+ are all directly accessible via the remote, and you can use Alexa commands to quickly get to everything else. Keep in mind that niche platforms like Shudder still aren’t available, but it’s otherwise stacked to the brim, including cloud gaming services such as Nvidia GeForce Now.

Currently, there’s no better OLED I’d buy for the price. I can’t imagine it’ll stay this low for long, and stock is already dwindling in the UK with ten left. Get them before they’re gone. After all, Amazon offers a 30-day return window if you’re not satisfied, leaving you no reason not to try it for yourself.
