A five storey building under construction at Onitsha, Onitsha North local government area, Anambra state has collapsed.
Blueprint learnt that the building situated at the popular DMGS junction, close to Dennis Memorial Grammar School (DMGS), collapsed at about 7.15am Wednesday.
Mr Oraemeka Nonso told Blueprint that there was no report of the cause or any casualty recorded during the incident, but he discovered that the entire building was raised down.
Oraemeka said: “I was going to work this morning when I saw it. The entire building came down in rubbles. I don’t think there were casualties in the building because work was not ongoing on the project this morning,” a source said.
