A former Strictly Come Dancing star who found love on the BBC series is set to launch their very own dating programme, it’s been reported.

In 2018, YouTuber Joe Sugg competed on the show with his professional dance partner Dianne Buswell, with the dynamic duo reaching the final.

In the end, they narrowly lost out on the Glitterball Trophy to Stacey Dooley and Kevin Clifton.

However, that didn’t mark the end of their partnership, as Joe, 32, and Dianne, 34, ended up getting together, going public with their relationship the following year.

Coincidentally, the winners of their series Stacey, 37, and Kevin, 41, are also together and share a baby daughter called Minnie.

Six years after Joe and Dianne blew audiences away on Strictly, the vlogger is reportedly going to help hopeful singletons also find love.

It’s been claimed that he’s going to front a TV programme called The World’s Most Honest Game Show, which will allow single participants to find out the truth about their potential partners before committing to relationships.

It’s been said that only a pilot episode has been commissioned so far, which is being made with Joe’s production company Final Straw, as well as the BBC.

An insider told The Sun: ‘It’s an exciting new dating format all about honesty, which means the singletons will find out both the best bits and the bad bits of the other contestants they fancy.

‘The singles won’t be able to keep their not-so-good personality traits under wraps for long, with Joe helping both sides of each couple find out the truth.’

The source added that there will be ‘a twist or two’, in the pipeline, explaining that the show will follow on from the ‘success’ of other recent BBC dating series, I Kissed A Boy and it’s upcoming follow-up I Kissed A Girl.

‘The BBC are moving onward with competing with the dating show giants available elsewhere,’ they stated.

On Valentine’s Day this year, Joe shared two adorable pictures of himself out for dinner with Dianne, the first of which showed the dancer being offered a rose at the table.

In the second image, Dianne held a rose in her hand while her boyfriend balanced another one in his mouth.

Last year, the Strictly pro was partnered with EastEnders actor Bobby Brazier on the series, making it all the way to the final once again.

In a heartfelt Instagram post, Joe expressed his pride in his girlfriend, writing: ‘You have turned @bobbybrazier into the finest ballroom and Latin dancer.

‘Every 5am Monday morning dropping you off at the station with bright eyes and a smile on your face, eager to teach and produce brilliant choreography every week.

‘You may not have won the trophy, but you won the nation’s heart last night and over the course of the series and really showed everyone what you can achieve ❤️.’

Metro.co.uk has contacted the BBC and Joe Sugg’s representatives for comment.

Strictly Come Dancing will return on BBC One and BBC iPlayer later this year.
