AMD Radeon RX 7700 XT currently features an unmissable deal that brings the graphics card to its lowest price ever. It seems like a no-brainer if you’re in the market for an upgrade, but it’s not the only budget fighter in the ring. Acer’s Predator BiFrost Intel Arc A770 has taken an even greater tumble that might make you think twice.
You’re currently spoiled for choice in Camp Red, as Sapphire, XFX, PowerColor, and Gigabyte all have discounts on Radeon RX 7700 XTs. The best deals fall to $399.99, which is not only the cheapest they’ve been on Amazon US but the price it probably should’ve always been. Over on Amazon UK, similar models have slipped to £403, which is also the lowest we’ve spotted.
For your troubles, you get a triple-fan graphics card with 12GB of memory across a 192-bit bus. With 3,456 stream processing units, 54 RDNA 3 Compute Units, and up to a 2,599MHz boost clock, it can handle any game you throw at it.
Over on Team Blue, Acer’s Predator BiFrost Intel Arc A770 boasts the biggest discount with 25% off. Sitting under $299.99 on Amazon US, prices have never been slimmer. Unfortunately, this one’s a North American exclusive, making the decision a little easier overseas.
Although Intel’s first-generation Arc graphics cards didn’t make the biggest splash, they did fill the budget void while other GPU prices kept climbing. Piling on with another unprecedented discount, and it’s a veritable steal. The 16GB GDDR6 VRAM on a 245-bit bandwidth eclipses our AMD alternative here, but it’s not quite as fast with a 2,200MHz boost clock and fewer units across the board.
No matter which you choose, at least Intel and AMD prices are heading in the right direction. Nvidia GeForce graphics cards won’t be so lucky in the near future, with inflation poised to take a firm grip.
