Dancehall star Elephant Man has claimed he’s father to a whopping 38 children.

The musician – real name Oniel Bryan – is understood to be in his late forties and aged approximately 47.

He previously said he had 20 kids back in 2019, but appears to have significantly increased the size of his brood by fathering another 18 in the five years since.

The Jamaican musician – who was previously a member of the dancehall group Scare Dem Crew before embarking on his solo career – first became a dad at 17.

Elephant Man, also known as the ‘Energy Gad’, dropped this nugget of information in an Instagram Live with his fans last week, according to Dancehall Mag.

‘I have 38 pickney; start from mi a 17,’ the All Out hitmaker said of his parenting situation.

He also said that growing up ‘young and idle’ in Seaview Gardens, Kingston, had contributed to his sprawling number of kids – and that he wouldn’t rule out more.

When DJ Noah Powa asked if he wanted more, Elephant Man responded: ‘How yuh mean? Den if it come, it nuh come bredda. Weh you a talk bout?’

Elephant Man also gave a rather a large hint at how he could have ended up with nearly 40 children, openly stating he doesn’t bother with birth control, such as condoms.

Elephant Man also suggested his diet and natural remedies had allowed him to boast virility, which he called ‘fit back’.

The Pon De River, Pon De Bank has previously denied claims that he’s an absentee father, owing to the sheer number of kids and contentious relationships with some of their mothers.

‘We’ve been through it. When you’re a likkle youth coming from nothing to something, people a go talk things, but at the end of the day, never mek a rumour be true,’ he told Jamaican publication The Gleaner in 2019.

‘Me take care of my kids, but sometimes you and the mother have a dispute, and you know how that go.’

‘Memba mi deh ya good one time and dem seh Ele have AIDS. Me seh, weh dat come from? Mi nuh dead, mi deh ya. That’s how people is.’
