The iPhone was first released in 2007 and since then it’s seen plenty of new iterations, upgrades and features.

But even the most diehard Apple fan may not be aware of every single feature on their phone.

This iPhone feature means struggling to find an emoji to accurately depict how you’re feeling is a thing of the past.

You can essentially create your own emojis by layering them on top of each other.

All you need to do is head onto iMessage and send your first emoji – this is the base you layer other emojis on top of.

Then, head back to your emoji library and choose which one you want to stack on top.

Select and drag it onto the message and add it on top of the base emoji. You can then repeat this as many times as you like with other emojis.

You can also use your fingers to make the emojis bigger or smaller using a pinching motion.

And if you want to delete an emoji from your collage, simply tap and hold the base emoji until the menu appears.

Select ‘sticker details’ then swipe left on the emoji you want to remove.

But before you go ahead and start creating stunning works of emoji art in iMessage, it’s important to make sure your iPhone is fully updated first.
