Dannii Minogue has opened up about her relationship with record producer Adrian Newman, who she’s been with for over a decade.

The presenter of I Kissed a Girl, 52, revealed that although she has happily been in a relationship with the same man for 10 years, she doesn’t think they’ll ever get married.

‘Marriage isn’t on the cards, but we’re just enjoying growing up together and spending time,’ she said in an interview with HELLO! Magazine.

The former X Factor judge has been with Adrian, a music producer, for years and says: ‘He’s just so great.’

She also said of keeping their relationship private, that this has been tricky in the past because of her fame.

‘I haven’t always been able to do it that way before because if the other person is already famous, then what can you do?’

‘But he works behind the scenes, so it’s easy.’

Dannii was first snapped with Adrian 10 years ago at the Australian Open in 2014 and since then has been seen at a few other public events with her partner.

Speaking to KIIS FM’s Kyle Sandilands and Jackie O Henderson years ago, Dannii said it was a lot of effort to keep her relationship private.

‘Every time anyone prints a picture of him they go “secret man”, “never seen” … he’s just not interested in anything to do with the public eye,’ she reportedly said.

The star has also called her relationship with him ‘perfect’ and said that it exists in a ‘beautiful bubble’.

‘I have a beautiful boyfriend. I never say anything about him. We are super private. I am just in the perfect moment,’ she said per The Sun.

‘Everything is good, in love, family and health. Everything is ticking the box. It’s the most beautiful bubble. I don’t want it to end.’

Inside Dannii Minogue’s dating history and past relationships:

Dannii was married in 1994 to Aussie actor Julian McMahon after meeting on the set of Home and Away, but they divorced the following year, with Dannii later posing for Playboy and claiming she was broke after her marriage fell apart, according to The Sydney Morning Herald.

In 1999, Dannii became engaged to racing drive Jacques Villeneuve, but they broke up two years later.

It was then reported she was dating Scottish musician Craig Logan, with claims they were engaged in March 2002 before splitting in December that year.

In 2008, Dannii began dating former pro rugby player Kris Smith, and the couple welcomed their son together in 2010.

She announced in 2012 however that hey had separated, saying their son remains ‘our number one priority’.

During her time on The X Factor from 2007 to 2010, there were rumours Dannii was in a relationship with Simon Cowell, as he claimed, according to MailOnline, to have had a ‘crush on her’. They did however deny reports amid the speculation.

Since 2014, Dannii has been in a relationship with Adrian Newman, which she keeps out of the spotlight.

Since this news broke, the I Begin To Wonder hitmaker has now clarified that she is simply an ‘eternal ally to the LGBTQIA+ community.’

‘To clarify, there was no breakdown and I was not making an announcement that I’m a lesbian or queer, I’m straight and in a long term hetero relationship,’ an Instagram post caption read.

I Kissed A Boy is available to stream now on BBC iPlayer. I Kissed A Girl launches on May 5.
