The Blueprint Newspapers and its reporter, Alhaji Ayuba Raji, covering the hajj exercise for the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), have won the Best Media and Journalist for coverage of the 2024 pilgrimage.
The announcement was made during the post-stakeholders meeting organised by NAHCON in Makkah, Saudi Arabia Wednesday.
The commission also announced automatic hajj slot for Blueprint due to the comprehensive coverage of the hajj exercise by the newspaper.
NAHCON’s Head of National Media Team, Mousa Ubandawaki commended both Blueprint Newspapers and its reporter, Alhaji Raji on the exceptional performance in the coverage of the activities of the commission during the 2024 hajj exercise.
Alhaji Ubandawaki also commended the entire National Media Team (NMT) for the extensive coverage of the commission’s activities during the 2024 hajj exercise.
