Cristiano Ronaldo saw the funny side as he posed for a selfie with a young pitch invader during Portugal’s Euro 2024 clash against Turkey.
The former Manchester United and Real Madrid star had jus played a key role in creating Portugal’s third goal of a one-sided contest for Bruno Fernandes.
In the process, Ronaldo reached yet another personal milestone, with that assist representing his seventh in European Championships history, one more than the previous joint record holder Karel Poborsky.
Moments later, the game had to be paused for a brief interruption as the young fan evaded numerous stewards to get close to his idol.
On that occasion the 39-year-old was more than happy to take a moment to take a picture with the youngster.
Ronaldo was less than impressed with 10 minutes remaining when another fan made his way onto the playing surface, hoping for a memento.
