Award-winning Afrobeat singer David Adeleke better known by his stage name, Davido has made his first official statement following his wedding.
The singer who got hitched to his wife and woman of his dreams, Chioma Rowland now Adeleke shared a loved-up clip of him and his bride.
In his caption, he noted how their union was God’s time.

As expected, many celebrities flooded his comment section with wel wishes. The likes of BBNaija Queen, Kiekie, Tayo Sindodo, Destiny Etiko, Bimbo Oshin, Jide Awobona, Sharon Francis, Waje, Crayon and more, dropped a comment.

During his wedding after party, Davido had poured praises on Chioma, saying she is a good cook and also good in bed. Davido also declared that Chioma’s soup is different and sweet and stated that there is nothing she can’t do.
While paying respect to Chioma’s parents, Davido had listed out his plans for his wife, Chioma. He declared that it was a lifetime assurance for Chioma as he promised to protect her, respect her and connect her. He also declared love for her parents as he stated that his wedding day was the happiest day of his life.
Keeping to his words, he had gifted Chioma a brand-new SUV and bouquet of roses at their wedding venue, as a starter.
There is no doubt that Chioma deserves all the accolades and everything she is getting now, as she and Davido’s love story has gone through several challenges.
The couple lost their son, Ifeanyi Adeleke, in October 2022, a few days after celebrating his 3rd birthday, and this no doubt shook their relationship.
Following the loss of their son that same year, Davido secretly got married to Chioma in a court wedding which took place at his father’s house. In January 2023, Davido finally paid Chioma’s bride price (Umunna) in full at Ezeala Odu, Imo state.
Confirming his marriage in an interview in March, he said he is happily married while showing off his wedding ring. He told viewers that he got married during his break.
