Upcoming EastEnders scenes will see an unexpected pair get passionate – unaware that a young family member is in a dire situation outside.
Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan Levy) has been on a mission to get her hands on dying Nish Panesar’s (Navin Chowdhry) inheritance, and in recent scenes aired on BBC iPlayer she came up with a new plan.
Having failed to win him over with charm alone, Priya decided to make a deal with the grandfather of her children, offering him her company in exchange for cash.
As the pair kissed, with Nish having agreed to the arrangement, they were totally unaware that Nugget Gulati (Juhaim Rasul Choudhury) was watching them from outside the window.
However, his mum and grandad’s romantic embrace was the least of his worries, as he was clearly suffering from the side effects of his steroid use.
After learning that best friend Denzel Danes (Jaden Ladega) was using the drugs to enhance his performance in the boxing ring, Nugget wanted to join in – despite having previously warned Denzel of the dangers.
Having already been sick as a result of the steroids, Nugget was clearly unwell as he left the Boxing Den, and ended up slumping to the pavement after spotting the kiss.
In upcoming scenes, as the passion continues between Priya and Nish, Priya is set to get the horrifying news that Nugget has collapsed, and she is left inconsolable as she joins Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) at the hospital.
The family are later shocked to discover that Nugget’s kidney’s aren’t working properly, but they vehemently deny the possibility of him having taken drugs.
When Ravi reflects on Zack Hudson’s (James Farrar) suspicions that Nugget had been taking steroids, he pulls the doctor aside to let him know.
It doesn’t take Ravi and Priya long to start arguing about their parenting, before ultimately leaning on each other for support.

When the doctor returns, he confirms Zack’s suspicions and reveals that Nugget has been taking steroids.
Things only get worse when Nugget later wakes up and doctors reveal that he may need long term dialysis. On top of this, he refuses to come clean about who supplied his steroids.
Despite everything Priya is dealing with, Nish takes time to remind her of their deal. Will she continue with her plan, or is she set to call it all off?
