The Federal Government has disclosed that it will be introducing a new curriculum for Secondary School education in the country by September.
The Minister of Education, Prof. Tahir Mamman disclosed this during the 2024 Policy Meeting on Admissions into Tertiary Institutions on Thursday.
Tahir noted that the new curriculum will include skill and acquisition subjects as the country ensures that its students from all levels of education are self employed.
He also stated that the National Universities Commission(NUC) reviewed curriculum for universities called the Core Curriculum Minimum Academic Standard(CCMAS) will also be reviewed to accommodate skill acquisitions.
