AMD offers two free games with Ryzen CPUs and Radeon GPUs

AMD has updated its CPU and GPU game bundles with two new titles. If you are planning to get a Ryzen 7000 series processor or a Radeon RX 7000 series graphics card, you may want to look for a participating retailer.

For this new edition, AMD has bundled two upcoming games: Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 and Unknown 9: Awakening. The former is a third-person shooter set in the Warhammer 40k universe, where you play as a Space Marine. The latter is an action adventure in which you have magical abilities that let you control your enemies. Note that Warhammer is scheduled to release on September 9, whereas Unknown 9 has yet to get a date.

If you purchase select Radeon RX 7000 graphics cards, Ryzen 7000 processors, or laptops housing both, you can claim these games after receiving your hardware. This bundle is mostly available worldwide, except in the usual restricted countries like China. Strangely, Japan has extra limitations as the offer is only available on high-end models such as Ryzen 9 7900X or Radeon RX 7900 GRE and above.

Unfortunately, Ryzen 9000 series processors are not part of this offer, probably because the aim is to clear remaining Ryzen 7000 stocks before the imminent launch of the new chips.

Lastly, in case you already own one of these and want to give your extra key to a friend, keep in mind that the redemption page will check if you indeed have the CPU/GPU installed on your machine.

The full list of eligible products is as follows:

CPUs

GPUs

Laptops

  • Ryzen 9 7940HS
  • Ryzen 7 7840HS
  • Ryzen 7 7735HS
  • Ryzen 7 7435HS

  • Radeon RX 7700S
  • Radeon RX 7600S

Though not as good as the old days when you got two or even three games with your GPU purchase, these are still promising titles. Personally, I prefer Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 for obvious reasons. No one wants to upset the emperor, or the Inquisition for that matter.
