Asus teases an RX 7000 Warhammer 40k edition

Asus has teased Radeon RX 7000 Warhammer 40k edition graphics card featuring a blue cooler frame. The card follows the Ultramarines’ armour design with gold accents and war paint.

Asus, AMD, and Focus Entertainment are teaming up on a limited-edition graphics card designed around Warhammer 40k’s universe. From the looks of it, Asus seems to have modified its TUF Gaming series by adding details from the Ultramarine armour, including the fantastic blue colour of its namesake. An excellent choice since the TUF series cooler is one of the best, offering great performance and silent operation.

To celebrate the series’ vast and detailed lore, not to forget the massive community behind it, Asus will be giving away multiple units through different means. Currently, we don’t know the exact number of prizes, but the brand should unveil more information in two weeks. That said, Asus will seemingly give one of these cards to a participant in AMD’s Gamescom Event on August 23. Until then, why not try your luck on our iiyama ProLite giveaway.

Hopefully, unlike the Starfield and Avatar limited edition cards, this time we will get a chance to buy one instead of trying our luck in a raffle. If so, these cards will be part of AMD’s game bundle, meaning you’ll get Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 and Unknown 9: Awakening for free with your GPU purchase. Just make sure to select a participating retailer.

While we don’t know the exact Radeon model selected for this special edition, if we follow previous contests’ logic, it is likely an RX 7900 XT or RX 7900 XTX. We should get more information about the look and specs of this unique version at Gamescom, so stay tuned.

It’s a bummer that we no longer see fancy and special graphics cards nowadays. I sometimes miss the ATI HD series and their flashy designs, even though we get stuff like the RX 7800 XT Frostpunk edition every so often.
