Nigerian crossdresser James Brown has mourned the death of his colleague, Area Mama.

Kemi Filani reported on Thursday that the upcoming crossdresser, popularly known as ‘Abuja Area Mama,’ had been found dead in the Banex, Wuse II area of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT. In videos that made rounds online, Area Mama was seen lying motionless along the Katampe-Mabushi Expressway on Thursday morning.

Josephine Adeh, spokesperson of the FCT Police Command, who confirmed the discovery of the lifeless body in a statement, said the Commissioner of Police, CP Benneth Igweh, had ordered a thorough and discreet investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Taking to his Instagram story, James Brown mourned his death as he noted how he never met him. James noted how sinners are more mad at sinners because they sin differently.

“RIP. I didn’t get to meet him.

Sinners mad at sinners cos they sin differently”.

Last year, James Brown explained why he chose to dress as a woman. The dramatic Duchess of London said he dresses like a woman because it pays the bills naturally. He also said that being a woman can make somebody rich, however, if the person is smart. He also offered to help if the fan was interested.

In another post, he opened up on the struggles of being a woman, admitting that becoming it hasn’t been easy for him. He revealed that sometimes he feels some way from how he used to. Further elaborating on his struggles, he claimed that he doesn’t urinate as a man again.

In April, James Brown had issued a public service announcement, noting how his name had circulated in conversations that don’t involve him. Requesting that people refrain from discussing him or his personality, he clarified that he stands only on entertaining his fans to forget the sorrow and frustration in Nigeria and the world, and reminded his fans of his talent.

He appreciated the interest and special activist tactics in him, however, he wants them all to maintain a level of respect and boundaries as he noted how everyone has their own lives to focus on.
