Award-winning music star Peter Okoye of the famous music group Psquare has written an open letter to his twin brother, Paul Okoye.
It is no longer news that the famous twins have fallen out again following undisclosed reasons. Speaking out via his Instagram page, Peter let his twin brother know that he was not in any competition with him or anybody else. He stated that seeing him grant several interviews where he constantly discredits his efforts in the group they both created and built speaks volumes. He noted how Paul said in an interview that he wrote 99% of Psquare songs, and the only one Peter wrote was a failure.
In his second point against him, Peter noted how Paul always uses a singular pronoun when discussing the group, while he (Peter) always uses plurals.
The father of two noted how Paul, rather than joining forces with him to reclaim their number one spot in the music industry, chose to team up with their elder brother, Jude Okoye. He noted how Paul has always marginalised and humiliated him.
He further claimed that his twin brother has constantly disrespected him, his wife, his family, his talent, his ideas and more. He promised to share more about his arrest of Paul.
Kemi Filani reported in June last year, controversial blogger Stella Dimokokorkus alleged that there was a brewing war between the Psquare brothers and their elder brother, Jude Okoye, because of the joint funds being allegedly diverted by Jude Okoye.
She claimed that an insider told her that a company wanted to acquire the music catalogue comprising the PSquare works, which led to the unveiling of different secrets about what was happening to their finance.
Last month, Instagram blogger Cutie Juls alleged that Paul and his elder brother, Jude Okoye, had been arrested by the commission.
Confirming it, Paul took to his Instagram page to rejoice after getting clearance from the commission. He made it known that he wasn’t a thief but made his money through good music. The singer announced that he was returning to making music as he promised to release new music.
In a recent interview, he opened up on his relationship with his twin brother, recounting how Peter got him and their older brother, Jude Okoye, arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC in December 2023.
