Court Remands 10 Kano Protesters In Prison


The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has remanded 10 persons who participated in the #EndBadGovernancelnNigeria protests in Kuje and Suleja Correctional Centres.

The protesters, who are said to be organizers of the protests in Kano State, are facing trial for alleged treason, inciting to mutiny and intent to destabilize to country.

Justice Emeka Nwite of The Federal High Court ordered they be remembered in custody of the Nigerian Correctional Service, pending a ruling on their bail applications, fixed for September 11, 2024.
