Emotions run high and the subject of death is everywhere (Picture: BBC / ITV / Lime Pictures / Amazon)

The high drama continues in soapland next week, as confirmed in my new spoilers, with a number of big deaths on the cards all across the genre.

EastEnders legend Yolande Trueman is left reeling when she learns that Pastor Clayton has taken his own life while Coronation Street sees something similar transpire, with Joel Deering thought to have taken his own life too.

Elsewhere on the cobbles, Paul Foreman’s funeral is conducted by Billy Mayhew so expect emotion aplenty.

Over in Emmerdale, a death shock leaves Moira Dingle reeling in what proves to be a big week for the ITV soap icon.

Hollyoaks, meanwhile, sees Ethan Williams and Sienna Blake on cloud nine as they prepare for their long-awaited wedding day and Neighbours’ Susan Kennedy is on hand to offer support to Holly Hoyland following the siege.

it’s set to be quite a week for TV’s most enduring genre and, if you simply cannot wait until Monday (September 30) to find out what’s in store then you’ll be pleased to know you don’t have to, as I’ve got a first look at all the spoilers for all the soaps below.

You’re welcome.

EastEnders

1. Yolande is taken aback when the police inform her that another woman has come forward in the case against Pastor Clayton. Clayton himself soon barges in, asking Yolande to change her statement but – realising she won’t be intimidated – he quickly leaves. Yolande later receives word that Clayton has taken his own life.

3. Freddie and Anna return to The Vic after an afternoon of bird watching where they are greeted by the disapproving glare of Ian, who is very vocal in voicing his thoughts, forcing Cindy to leave.

4. Tommy attempts to play the nice guy in front of Kat and Alfie but it’s clear that not everything is as it seems.

Todd, Summer, Kit, David, Chesney and Dee-Dee carry the coffin while Billy conducts the service. Afterwards, a rave gets underway on the Street in Paul’s memory – and Bernie reveals her out of this world resting place for her son’s ashes.

Gail, meanwhile, suggests selling the house to raise money but David points out that they’d be homeless. Daniel contemplates using Bertie’s trust fund.

12. Ryan calls at the factory with an official looking letter for Carla, who – upon reading it – loses all expression. Ryan confides in Lisa that Carla is stressed about her plea hearing but Lisa wonders if there is more to it than that. The question is: what is it that has upset Carla?
