The National President of Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressive Union (IEDPU), Alhaji Abdulmumini Ayo Abdulmalik, has felicitated with the General Manager of UNILORIN 89.3 FM, Mr Idris Akintola Ibrahim (Alooma), on the two prestigious awards recently conferred on him.
In a statement signed by the union’s spokesman, Mallam Nurudeen Ibrahim, Alhaji Abdulmalik saluted the professionalism and industry of Mr Alooma, which earned him the awards and several other previously bagged awards.
Alhaji Abdulmalik described Mr Alooma a great friend of Ilorin emirate who has contributed significantly to the peace and progress of the community.
The community leader, who is a retired assistant comptroller-general of the Nigeria Immigration Service, urged other Ilorin-based professionals to emulate the fascinating attributes of Mr Alooma who acted and behaved as a member of the community.
The president wishes the seasoned broadcaster a more successful and rewarding career.
