These gorgeous Fractal cases are all reduced for Amazon Big Deal Days

Nothing like a bumper period of deals to kick start a new PC build. Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days event is underway, and we’re busy scouring the shelves to help you find the best bargains.

A fresh chassis is a logical place to start, and a bunch of award-winning Fractal enclosures have been reduced to the lowest prices we’ve seen.

The pick of the bunch is Fractal Terra, a favourite of mine. It is, in my estimation, one of the most stylish mini-ITX cases on the market, and all the more appealing with a hefty price cut. Said chassis normally fetches £175, but you can currently grab the graphite model at an all-time-low of £124.99. That’s a near-30% discount, but it sadly doesn’t apply to the gorgeous jade-coloured variant.

“Inspired by the homes of modern gamers, Terra incorporates boutique design features such as thick panels cut from anodized aluminum, CNC-milled details and FSC-certified solid walnut.”

Small builds are the most fun, and Fractal has a couple of clever tricks up Terra’s sleeves to help enhance the process. The hinged, gull-wing style doors enable easy access – and look fantastic – and the split internal area can be altered to increase or decrease CPU/GPU headroom as needed. Our test build in 2023 incorporates an Intel Core i5-13400F processor and GeForce RTX 4070 graphics and runs perfectly cool. Heck, there’s technically room for an RTX 4090 should you be feeling bold.

If you favour more room to manoeuvre, the equally stunning Fractal North XL is also down from £174.99 to a lowest-ever price of £144.49. That’s a lot of case for the money, though again you are limited in choice of models – only the charcoal black with mesh side panel is reduced.

Should budget not stretch quite that far, a shoutout to the tried-and-trusted Define 7 Compact. While not as glamourous as Fractal’s modern cases, Define 7 Compact expertly balances high-end components with low-noise operation. It’s available for under a hundred pounds, at £93.49, during the promotional period.

UK shoppers have it particularly good, but there are discounts in other regions, too. We’ve seen Terra reduced on the continent, while Meshify is on sale in the US. If you happened to be on the lookout for a Fractal case, now’s a good time to dive in. Do be aware that Amazon’s promotional prices do require Prime membership. On the plus side, that means you could be building asap with same-day delivery.
