A busy Tube line on the London Underground is suspended this morning due to a points failure.

The Circle line has no service running between Aldgate and Edgware Road via Embankment this morning while Transport for London (TfL) try to fix the issue.

TfL says there is good service running anticlockwise on the line, however.

The closure of the line at Edgware Road especially will impact commuters as it is a busy station allowing passengers to switch between the Circle, District, and Hammersmith & City lines.

Although it’s not all doom and gloom as the rest of the Tube network is running well this morning.

Meanwhile on the roads, the A34 in Hampshire is closed in both directions after a crash which caused ‘extensive barrier damage and debris in the carriageway’.

The road is blocked between the B4640 Newtown and A343 Enbourne Row and diversions are in place.
