While 4TB offers the best savings of the lot, there are a few discounts on other capacities. The 2TB model is up to 34% cheaper, falling as low as £149.99 / $175 / €156; meanwhile, 1TB drops to $109.99 / £94 / €91. Keep an eye out for those coupons, as the UK gives an extra £5 off in some cases.
Samsung’s 7,450MB/s sequential read and 6,900MB/s sequential write speeds top the charts for this spec, and we found the 2TB model to be a stellar performer in more ways than one.
I’d normally recommend avoiding the premium that comes with the heatsink model showcased here, but the voucher actually makes it cheaper than the naked variant in the UK. You can always remove the shield if your motherboard has its own solutions, but having the option is better than not. Samsung also primes and readies the device to slot right into a PS5 console, with or without a heat spreader.
Although I’ve already mentioned that SSD prices are predicted to fall a little from their eye-watering inflation throughout 2024, I wouldn’t expect them to reach much lower than this. My advice is to seize the deal while it’s in front of you, lest you miss out and wait another year.
