The series includes three different models, each available in black or white. If your budget is tight, the Pure Base 501 Black at £79.99 gives you a closed front panel and steel side. For £5 extra, you get the airflow version that offers better cooling thanks to a mesh front panel. Spending £95 unlocks a glass side panel to view your shiny new hardware. Note that the white version will cost you yet another £5 in each tier.

Pure Base 501 combines compactness with maximum functionality, supporting up to ATX builds. Inside its 450 x 231 x 463mm (LxWxH), you also have space for up to 178mm CPU coolers, 368mm long graphics cards, and 200mm PSUs (180mm with offset HDD cage). There’s even room for two 3.5in or five 2.5in drives. Lastly, connectivity-wise, you will find one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, two USB 3.2 Type-A, plus a combo audio jack. Nothing more, nothing less; a typical case I/O.

Compared to its predecessor, Pure Base 501 comes with new fans, additional cable routing channels, and an extra USB Type-A port. But most notably, the new series supports vertical GPU mounting using an optional riser cable – sold separately for £60.

be quiet! Pure Base 501 will be available starting November 12, backed by a three-year warranty.
