Marvel Studios added insult to injury for Evan Peters’ MCU character in Agatha All Along, underlining just how much Agatha Harkness ruined Ralph Bohner’s life. Evan Peters’ appearance in WandaVision came as a huge shock, as he seemed to be being introduced as the MCU’s new version of Pietro Maximoff’s Quicksilver following his popular run as a version of the speedster in 20th Century Fox’s X-Men franchise. However, Peters was soon revealed to be portraying actor Ralph Bohner instead, who had fallen under the control of Kathryn Hahn’s Agatha Harkness.
Ralph Bohner was freed from Agatha Harkness’ control in WandaVision by Monica Rambeau, and escaped from Westview, New Jersey, after the events of the 2021 series. Evan Peters reprised the role in Agatha All Along episode 6, “Familiar By Thy Side,” where he was revealed to have provided Billy Maximoff with information about the Scarlet Witch, her hold over Westview and Agatha Harkness. Agatha All Along proved that WandaVision’s events took an immense toll on Ralph Bohner, though he was specifically worried about one thing in particular.

Agatha All Along’s Finale Damaged Ralph Bohner’s House Even More
In Agatha All Along episode 6, Ralph Bohner confirmed that Agatha Harkness had stolen his own home in WandaVision, and was still residing in it during her time living as Agnes O’Connor in Westview. He expressed concerns that her actions had seriously lowered the market value of his home, and Agatha All Along’s final two episodes only made this even worse. The final battle between Agatha Harkness and Death in Agatha All Along episode 8 saw even more damage done to Ralph Bohner’s home, and Agatha’s dead body making its mark in the back garden.

The mysterious Ralph Bohner returned to the MCU in Agatha All Along, and he put a seriously dark twist on one of WandaVision’s most memorable moments.
Even after Agatha Harkness’ demise, Death’s departure from Westview and the dust settling after their battle, Ralph Bohner’s home was still put in the firing line. Agatha All Along episode 9 saw Billy Maximoff seal the gate to the Witches’ Road, which he had originally created in episode 2. Instead of just restoring Ralph’s basement floor, however, Billy engraved a pentagram into the floor with the names of Sharon Davis, Alice Wu-Gulliver and Lilia Calderu, three now-missing women, engraved in the center. This is sure to lower the property value even further, and cast unnecessary suspicion on Ralph Bohner.
Ralph Bohner Just Can’t Catch A Break In The MCU
Ralph Bohner’s Life Has Been Ruined By Agatha Harkness
While every resident of Westview went through a traumatic experience in WandaVision, Ralph Bohner might be correct that he had it the worst. Ralph Bohner was not only controlled by the Scarlet Witch, but also fell under the control of Agatha Harkness, and she used him for various dastardly purposes. Most notably, Agatha forced Ralph Bohner to infiltrate the Maximoff family home, masquerading as Wanda Maximoff’s deceased brother, forced him to poison Sparky, the Maximoffs’ dog, and pushed him to take Monica Rambeau hostage in WandaVision’s finale.

In her various fights against Wanda Maximoff, the Salem Seven and Death, Agatha Harkness caused severe damage to Ralph Bohner’s house. His escape from Westview has culminated in him living a life in the shadows under the alias Randall, and he displayed serious paranoia when speaking to Billy Maximoff and Eddie. The finale of Agatha All Along may have even made Ralph Bohner a suspect in a triple missing persons case, making him one of the most unwittingly tragic characters in the MCU.
