Sapphire has a killer deal on its Radeon RX 7900 XTX GPU

The GPU market is shifting fast, and AMD is seizing the moment with enticing deals on its high-performance Radeon RX 7900 XTX. At a time when top-tier graphics cards rarely see substantial discounts, even during Black Friday month, Sapphire comes in clutch, making waves by offering one of its most powerful models at a record-low price.

Slashing 15% off, Sapphire’s Pulse Radeon RX 7900 XTX has fallen to just under $850 on Amazon US. This is the cheapest it’s ever been bar a couple of cents. We briefly saw the same drop for just one day last month before it shot right back up to a grand, so I don’t recommend hanging around too long before snapping one up.

Over on the continent, the same model features up to 9% off in France, dropping it to a record low of €915.30. Discounts depend on region and you can check yours out using the button below.

Featuring RDNA 3 architecture under the hood, experience unprecedented performance, visuals, and efficiency at 4K resolution using AMD’s flagship graphics card. Read our review.

Each RX 7900 XTX features RDNA 3 architecture with a whopping 24GB of memory. On count alone, this puts it on par with RTX 4090, although AMD sticks with GDDR6 rather than the faster GDDR6X iteration, making RTX 4080 its real rival. Still, a 384-bit bus at 20Gbps will tear through anything you throw at it.

In practice, the VRAM is enough to make short work of HD texture packs at 4K resolution. After all, Far Cry 6 demanded around 11GB for the luxury three years ago. Games have only gotten more demanding since. Round it off with a 2,525MHz boost clock and FSR (FidelityFX Super Resolution), and Sapphire Pulse keeps your frame rates as high as your settings.

We gave the reference card a solid 4/5 stars in our AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX review, latching onto the smart chiplet design and value for money. It already featured an aggressive price-to-performance ratio, and this deal makes it a steal. Sapphire even bundles a GPU brace to keep the chonky card from straining your PCIe slot, which is something of a cherry on top of an already delicious cake.

It’s only natural to hesitate when considering spending this amount of money, but Amazon offers a safety net. Buy this today, and you’ll have a return window that stretches all the way to January 31, 2025, giving you the opportunity to send it back for a full refund if you’re not happy. It’s a no-brainer.
