Masked robbers broke into pregnant Charlotte Crosby’s home while she was inside with her two-year-old daughter.
The Geordie Shore star’s fiancé Jake Ankers recounted the terrifying ordeal that happened on tonight on a now deleted Instagram Story.
He said that a gang of four wearing balaclavas ‘with a machete’ tried to rob their £1,000,000 house in Sunderland.
Jake said: ‘I can’t believe I’m saying this but some little c***s have tried to rob my house with my two-year-old and my partner who is nearly eight months pregnant, armed with a machete.’
‘One of them who was in the house at the top of the stairs had a red balaclava on. He is the one that had the machete. Me little girl’s in the house. Me partner’s in the house.’
Jake said he managed to chase the four thugs out of the property but was unable to catch them. He appealed to his followers for any information.
Charlotte, 34, announced she was expecting her second child in September on Instagram and revealed her due date is January.
In a later clip on the social media site, the Celebrity Big Brother star enthused: ‘I can’t believe that Alba is gonna be a big sister.’
Charlotte, who named her firstborn after her late grandmother, told fans earlier this year that she and husband-to-be Jake were ‘trying’ for another baby.
Jake popped the question almost one year ago while they were holidaying in Dubai.
Announcing their engagement to the world, Charlotte wrote on social media: ‘Happiest woman in the world. Yes yes yes and yes @jake_ankers you are my best friend you are my life I CANT BELIEVE IM ENGAGED AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.’
‘Best night ever,’ she declared.
Charlotte started dating businessman Jake in late 2021, announcing that they were due to become parents the following spring.
They met through mutual friends following years of Charlotte’s love life making headlines.
It was reported that they started seeing each other ‘casually’ before going public in January 2022.
