Ever completely forget the things you want to buy when Black Friday is here and remember the following week when everything is full price again?

Because same. However, this week’s Trend Trove is so excellent that a lack of discounts won’t stand in my way of them.

From fashion and accessories you’ll want under the tree, to skincare and makeup you’ll want on your face – not forgetting a few little home treats, this is my curated selection of bits to inspire gifting yourself of loved ones (if they’re lucky).

In a bid to extend my coat collection to the point of excess, I simply had to get my hands on the John Lewis Scarf Coat – a Toteme-esque design with a removable scarf and the most gorgeous cropped silhouette.

I’ve also just entered my boujee hand care era, quite literally all because of the Grown Alchemist Exfoliating Hand Wash, whose gently exfoliating formula creates a bit of me-time every time you wash your hands.

For £29 it may be a small investment, but it lasts an age and feels NICE.

This week (and month for that matter) has been all about the fast for me, particularly when it comes to getting ready. As little time spent out of bed and in the cold, the better.

Helping with this has been the Essence Matte Liquid Waterproof Eyeshadow – a swipe on and blend shadow that gives a gorgeous wash of colour and dries down for all-day wear. Oh, and it’s under £3. Obsessed.

Ready to explore this week’s top picks and treat yourself while you’re at it? Get stuck into the Trend Trove below.

John Lewis ANYDAY Crop Scarf Coat

An impulse buy that I simply cannot regret, this John Lewis coat is easily going to take me through winter, spring and beyond. And doesn’t it look a whole lot like a certain Toteme design?…

Cosy and totally chic, it features an oversized, boxy fit with a removable scarf-style collar, perfect for keeping warm and cosy.

I’ve spoken about this hand wash before, but after completion of my last bottle I feel the need to remind the world just how wonderful it is.

This Exfoliating Hand Wash from Grown Alchemist is a multi-sensory treat for the hands and the nose. Formulated with natural pumice and eco beads as well as aloe vera in a luxurious gel base, and boasting the scents of vanilla and orange peel, this gorgeous hand wash cleans away dirt and impurities to leave hands feeling cleansed and massaged. Totally luxe.

Tropic Skin Feast nourishing moisturiser

The cold winter weather has been playing absolute havoc with my skin, leaving it dry and pretty miserable. This Tropic moisturiser, however, has been my recent saviour.

Skin Feast has been made with vitamin C-rich Kakadu plum extract to illuminate skin, hyaluronic acid to deeply hydrate and berry seed oils to defend against daily stressors. Truly a feast for your face.

Night Lark Seersucker Coverless Duvet Set

There’s no logical reason behind the pure, burning rage I experience when the duvet gets all balled up inside the duvet cover, but it’s still one of the most testing things I experience as an adult. Hence why I’m sold by Night Lark and their Coverless Duvets.

This coverless duvet comes complete with a super soft in-built cover, meaning you’ll never need to wrestle with the duvet cover again. Simply pop it in the washing machine when it’s time for a refresh and pop it in the tumble dryer or on the line to dry. I won’t miss you, sheets.

Purdy & Figg | Counter Clean Mixed Starter Kit

Something you may not think you needed, the Purdy & Figg Counter Clean has truly changed my cleaning game – and I’m a complete convert. Who needs horrible, chemical-smelling cleaners nowadays?

The brand’s hero Counter Clean system is as easy as mixing a 20ml cleaning concentrate with water in the included bottle and spraying away. The 100% natural and organic ingredients are tough on dirt and grime but leave a luxe, aromatherapeutic fragrance that lingers long past cleaning.
