Netflix’s No Good Deed pulls off its big dark-comedy mystery with a star-studded cast. The series follows Paul and Lydia Morgan as they put the Los Feliz house on the market and gain the attention of three couples, all desperate to have their bid accepted. However, the process of selling and buying in No Good Deed quickly unveils a variety of secrets on all parts. There’s something dark and mysterious going on at the Morgan home, but the cast of No Good Deed brings the perfect mix of comedy to even it all out.

No Good Deed comes from Dead to Me creator Liz Feldman, and the cast is just packed full of notable names. The pack is led by Lisa Kudrow and Ray Romano, who both give unique performances as the emotionally devistating but strangely funny Lydia and Paul. Add in Denis Leary, Linda Cardellini, Luke Wilson, and more, and there is no question that Feldman brought in the cream of the crop for her Netflix dark-comedy series.

Lisa Kudrow As Lydia Morgan

Date Of Birth: July 30, 1963

Los Angeles-born actor Lisa Kudrow is best known for her breakout role playing Phoebe Buffay in the massively popular sitcom Friends from 1994 to 2004. Kudrow won several awards for this role, including a Primetime Emmy and Screen Actors Guild. Prior to this, she appeared in other series such as Cheers (1989) and Mad About You (1993). Kudrow’s other notable TV and movie roles include Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion (1997), HBO’s The Comeback (2005), P.S. I Love You (2007), Neighbors (2014), and Booksmart (2019).

In No Good Deed, Kudrow plays Lydia Morgan, who is reluctant to sell her home despite her husband’s eagerness. She hopes, at the very least, to sell to people who respect what she has built there. It’s also evident in No Good Deed that Lydia carries a painful secret, which she desperately wishes her husband, Paul, would acknowledge.

Ray Romano As Paul Morgan

Date Of Birth: December 21, 1957

Born in Queens, New York City, Ray Romano is best known for playing the titular role in Everybody Loves Raymond from 1996 to 2005, which earned him a Primetime Emmy Award. Romano also plays the lovable mammoth Manny in the Ice Age franchise, which is made up of five feature films released between 2002 and 2016. In addition to this, Romano created and starred in Men of a Certain Age (2009 – 2011) and appeared in projects like Parenthood (2012 – 2015), The Big Sick (2017), and Get Shorty (2017 – 2019).

Romano plays Paul Morgan in No Good Deed, who grew up in the house he shares with his wife, Lydia, and is eager to finally be rid of it. Paul and Lydia’s marriage has been strained for years, and this revolves heavily around whatever dark secret their household has. For this reason, Romano’s character believes that selling the house to whoever will take it is the best way to move on.

Denis Leary As Mikey Morgan

Date Of Birth: August 18, 1957

Actor and comedian Denis Leary was born in Worcester, Massachusetts, and established his career as a stand-up comic in various MTV specials. Leary broke into acting through projects like Judgment Night (1993), Operation Dumbo Drop (1995), and Wag the Dog (1997) before starring in the TV show The Job between 2001 and 2002. From there, Leary co-created and starred in the 2004 series Rescue Me, which ran until 2011 and earned the actor two Primetime Emmy nominations. Leary also joined No Good Deed co-star Ray Romano in the Ice Age franchise, playing saber tooth Diego.

Leary plays Mikey in No Good Deed, Paul’s addict brother with whom he has a complicated relationship. Recently out of prison, Mikey knows all about Paul’s big secret, and uses evidence to blackmail his brother into giving him large amounts of money.

Linda Cardellini As Margo Starling

Date Of Birth: June 25, 1975

California-born actor Linda Cardellini rose to prominence playing Lindsay Weir in the 1999 series Freaks and Geeks before taking on the recurring role of Sam Taggart on ER (2003 – 2009). Cardellini is also known for playing Velma Dinkley in the live-action Scooby-Doo movie (2002) and its sequel (2004). Other projects among her many significant roles include Legally Blonde (2001), Mad Men (2013 – 2015), Bloodline (2015 – 2017), Dead to Me (2019 – 2022), and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (2023).

Cardellini plays Margo Starling in No Good Deed, the trophy wife of Paul and Lydia’s celebrity neighbor, JD Campbell. Lydia despises Margo, who is obsessed with expensive clothes and tacky interior designs. Naturally, Margo participates in the obligatory marital affair and eventually sets her sights on the coveted Morgan home.

Born in Dallas, Texas, actor Luke Wilson got his start starring in a 1994 short film titled Bottle Rocket, which was written by his brother Owen Wilson. It was remade into a feature film in 1996, elevating Wilson to further fame. His career took off with further roles and appearances in projects like Telling Lies in America (1997), Scream 2 (1997), and Rushmore (1998). Going into the 2000s and beyond, Wilson claimed prominent roles in films like Blue Streak (1999), Legally Blonde (2001), Old School (2003), Death at a Funeral (2010), Meadowland (2015), and more.

Wilson plays JD Campbell in No Good Deed. He is a soap actor who has been out of work for years and is in a financial pinch. He is desperate to continue supporting his wife’s lavish lifestyle but is running out of options. His best hope is to sell his mansion and claim the Morgan home until his next big role.

Abbi Jacobson As Leslie Fisher

Date Of Birth: February 1, 1984

Pennsylvania-born comedian, actor, and writer Abbi Jacobson is best known for co-creating and starring in the Comedy Central series Broad City, which ran from 2014 to 2019. In addition to this, she has appeared in films like Person to Person (2017) and 6 Balloons (2018) and lent her voice to the movie The Mitchells vs. the Machines in 2021. Jacobson’s notable TV roles include Disenchantment (2018 – 2023) and A League of Their Own (2022).

Jacobson plays Leslie Fisher in No Good Deed, a lawyer who sets her sights on the Morgan house. She and her wife Sarah have been trying to have kids for years, but Leslie has given up and begun using the money saved on IVF to purchase the home in Los Feliz. However, her experience as a District Attorney leads Leslie to sense that something isn’t quite right about the Morgan family.

Poppy Liu As Sarah

Born in Xi’an, China, and raised in Minnesota, actor Poppy Liu got her start starring in the 2019 sitcom Sunnyside. From there, she appeared in TV projects like Better Call Saul (2020 – 2022), Hacks (2021 – 2024), and Dead Ringers (2023). Liu’s movie roles include Space Cadet (2024) and the upcoming Dog Man (2025).

Liu plays Sarah in No Good Deed, Leslie’s OBGYN wife, who wants nothing more than to have a baby of her own. Sarah is spiritual and perceptive and immediately senses that something isn’t quite right with the Morgan home. Additionally, Sarah is keeping a big secret from her wife.

O-T Fagbenle As Dennis

Born in London and raised between Nigeria, Spain, and the UK, actor O-T Fagbenle is best known for his role as Lucas Bankole in The Handmaid’s Tale, which he has held since 2017. He has also appeared in projects such as Grownups (2006), Radio Cape Cod (2008), FM (2009), Material Girl (2010), Black Widow (2021), and The First Lady (2022).

Fagbenle’s character in No Good Deed, Dennis, is a writer preparing to publish his second book. He is a newlywed with a baby on the way and remains extremely close with his single mother. Dennis hopes to raise his son in the Los Feliz house but is under great stress to please his wife and mother and keep his own secrets hidden from everyone involved.

Teyonah Parris As Carla

South Carolina native Teyonah Parris claimed her first significant TV role in 2010 when she appeared on The Good Wife, which led to her recurring role in the AMC series Mad Men. In 2014, Parris starred in the film Dear White People before joining the comedy series Survivor’s Remorse. Since then, projects like Chi-Raq (2015), Charm City Kings (2020), WandaVision (2021), and The Marvels (2023) have been added to her credits.

In No Good Deed, Parris plays Carla, Dennis’ new wife with a baby on the way. Carla would love to see her mother-in-law let Dennis go a bit, and she is determined not to let the woman finance their purchase of the Los Feliz house. Of course, like everyone else interested in purchasing the Morgans’ home in No Good Deed, Carla has a secret of her own.
