Star Wars will be heading back to the movie theater for the first time since 2019 with The Mandalorian & Grogu, the first spin-off movie from the highly successful TV show The Mandalorian. Born in Santiago, Chile, Pedro Pascal has become a household name following his debut as Din Djarin in The Mandalorian. Pascal has been active in the industry for a long time, but he made his big break in 2014 with the role of Oberyn Martell in Game of Thrones. Taking on the role of DEA agent Javier Peña in all three seasons of Netflix’s Narcos only further launched him into stardom. While his role as Din Djarin sealed the deal, playing Joel Miller in HBO’s adaptation of The Last of Us has made Pascal one of Hollywood’s most in-demand actors.

Character: Now officially the adoptive father of Grogu, as well as the child’s Mandalorian mentor, Din Djarin has been tasked by the Armorer with taking Grogu on his apprentice journeys.

Steve Blum Is Garazeb “Zeb” Orrelios

Date of Birth: April 29, 1960

Born in Santa Monica, California, Steve Blum is an incredibly prolific voice actor with hundreds of credits to his name. He’s most well-known for his roles as Spike Spiegel in Cowboy Bebop, Wolverine in various X-Men properties, and, of course, Garazeb “Zeb” Orrelios in Star Wars Rebels. It’s more difficult to name an animated project or video game that Blum hasn’t been a part of than those he has, especially when it comes to the Star Wars galaxy.

Character: Formerly a member of Hera Syndulla’s Ghost crew, Zeb is now a ranger of the New Republic, training new recruits from the very same outpost at Adelphi as Captain Carson Teva.

Sigourney Weaver Is An Unknown Character

Date of Birth: October 8, 1949

Born in Manhattan, New York, Sigourney Weaver is one of Hollywood’s most iconic actors, particularly in the sci-fi genre. Her big break arrived with her role of Ellen Ripley in 1979’s Aliens, a character who has since come to define her career. Weaver added on to this iconic spread of movies with her roles as Dana Barrett in the Ghostbusters franchise, Dian Fossey in Gorillas in the Mist, and Dr. Grace Augustine in the Avatar franchise. Her untitled role in The Mandalorian & Grogu will mark her debut in the Star Wars franchise.

Jeremy Allen White Is Rotta The Hutt

Jeremy Allen White, born in Brooklyn, New York, is an actor who’s quickly on the rise thanks to a variety of well-known TV roles. White’s breakout role arrived in the TV show Shameless, where White portrayed Phillip “Lip” Gallagher for 10 years. Now, however, White is more well known for his role as Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto in the hit TV show The Bear, which has quickly become nothing short of iconic. Most recently, White hit the big screen in 2023’s The Iron Claw, where he portrayed Kerry Von Erich. This particular role marks White’s Star Wars debut.

Character: Rotta the Hutt is the son of Jabba the Hutt, first seen in the 2008 animated movie Star Wars: The Clone Wars, who may be causing some trouble in the years after his father’s death at the hands of Leia Organa.
