The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kebbi State, Alhaji Bako Bala, has allegedly been killed by armed men.
The Special Adviser to the Kebbi Governor on Television and Radio, Zaidu Sabuwa confirmed the incident on Thursday.
Sabuwa said the APC chieftain was abducted by armed men from his residence in the Suru Local Government Area of the state.
The governor’s aide noted that Bala was allegedly shot and abandoned in his blood on Wednesday.
He was later said to have been rushed to the Federal Medical Centre in Birnin Kebbi, where he was pronounced dead.
