Britain’s Got Talent host Amanda Holden has showed off her newly-renovated dining room… and it has a distinct flavour of The Traitors about it.
Posting on her Instagram account, the veteran TV presenter shared a video of the home transformation.
‘It takes a team,’ wrote Amanda, 53, in the caption – tagging interior designer Anousaka Lancaster and her team in the post.
‘Loved every minute! The dream project with a dream team! Loved every minute! Onto the next! ❤🙌’ Anousaka commented below.
The video showed the dining room being renovated from start to finish. This showed the panelling being removed, which were replaced by bursts of gold wallpaper set against gothic grey walls.
With a jungle design on the walls and ceiling, the room was brimming with plant life – and even a few leopards too.
A huge gold chandelier hangs over the table, which is laid out with opulent table settings and decadent tableware.
With its moody colour scheme, gold flourishes, and elaborate table settings, Amanda’s new dining room is visually faithful to something out of The Traitors’ castle.
Filmed in Ardross Castle in Scotland, the hit BBC show shares a distinguished gothic aesthetic and affinity for floral table decorations.
It too, features an enormous set of windows behind a massive dining table, lighting up the otherwise dark colour scheme.
The most recent series of the show saw young army man Harry Clark, 23, scheme his way to a jackpot of £95,000.
And, with ten seats pictured around Amanda’s dining table, it looks as though she would have room to host a game of the hit BBC One show herself.
In the comments below Amanda’s post, celebrity friends and fans alike were quick to share their words of admiration.
‘Wow!!!!!! 😍 insane!!!! ❤’ wrote Coronation Street actress Michelle Keegan.
‘Nothing but pure quality the whole project looks so lush 😍❤🔥’ said fan @tickle_11_roiphoto.
‘How gorgeous does your dining room look?? Although I think you need to call it the dining hall, much grander😂love it!! x’ wrote @jenoftherye
‘Wow. I love how dramatic it is!!!!’ said @susietigerwhite.
‘Love it ! It’s really atmospheric and I still think those panels look like they are illuminated with that orange colour – Beautiful,’ commented @pjpictures1.
The BGT judge and Heart Breakfast radio presenter is no stranger to home renovations – having hosted two series of home decoration show Amanda & Alan’s Italian Job with comedian Alan Carr.
This show follows the pair as they renovate homes in rural Italy – all brought for €1 under an local ambitious scheme designed to combat depopulation and in the hope of attracting new residents.
As part of the show, Amanda and Alan oversaw the renovation of a 17th Century townhouse in Tuscany.
The stunning property is now on sale for €220,0000 (£188,160).
