Gabriel Magalhaes was forced off at half time in Arsenal’s Premier League clash against West Ham on Saturday.
The Brazil international opened the scoring with a header from a corner in the 10th minute as Mikel Arteta’s side went on to score four more in an impressive first half.
Gabriel also won the penalty in first-half injury time which was converted by Bukayo Saka after the Arsenal centre-back was punched in the head by West Ham goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski.
Gabriel looked dazed as he got to his feet and was then replaced by Jakub Kiwior at the half-time break.
The 26-year-old was seen on the substitutes’ bench with his Arsenal teammates during the second half.
However, he could now be an injury doubt for Arsenal’s Premier League match at home to Manchester United next Wednesday.
Gabriel was in a race to be fit for Arsenal’s trip to West Ham on Saturday after he suffered an injury during the Gunners’ 5-1 win away to Sporting CP in the Champions League on Tuesday.
