2024 is the year OLED goes 480Hz, and ASRock plans to add its own flavour to the mix of monitors hitting the market with PGO32UFS2B. Using the same WOLED panel as found in LG UltraGear 32GS95UE-B, it effectively serves as two displays in one with two supported resolutions and refresh rates.
Displays like AsRock PGO32UFS2B could make deciding between the best gaming monitor for competitive and single player games a thing of the past. By default, the screen arrives with a 3,840 x 2,160 resolution and 240Hz refresh rate combo. However, at the push of a button, it swaps to 1,920 x 1,080 and 480Hz.

At 480Hz, PGO32UFS2B should offer motion clarity that bests even 540Hz backlit LCD monitors thanks to the lightning-fast response times inherent to OLED technology. Better still, image quality in terms of contrast and colour accuracy will be improved versus IPS, VA, and TN panels too, which often give such qualities a backseat at such high refresh rates. While the 1080p, 480Hz mode naturally appeals most to competitive gamers, the 4K, 240Hz mode should serve anyone with the hardware to run it with little fault.
ASRock includes a decent assortment of I/O ports too, which while slightly lacking in terms of USBs does at least offer a generous assortment of display inputs. PGO32UFS2B also includes the same integrated Wi-Fi antenna we saw in our PG27QFT2A review. Rounding things off, the monitor boasts VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification but ASRock claims it’s capable of 1,300nits of peak brightness in HDR too, likely in a separate display mode.
Outside of PGO32UFS2B, ASRock also announced PG27FFX2A, the world’s 27in 520Hz IPS gaming monitor. The company is also giving several of its previous models a refresh, with new 180Hz panels, namely: PG27QFT2A, PF27FFT1A, and PG25FFT.
