Bad Boys: Ride or Die has hit another domestic milestone at the box office, officially reaching the top 5 highest-grossing films of 2024 after almost a month in theaters. Thanks to their natural ability to work in tandem with one another during action scenes and funny moments, the duo’s journey makes for a hilarious, and sometimes emotional, new mission.

It also helps that the movie isn’t afraid to embrace the style of the first two, delivering wild action sequences reminiscent of Michael Bay’s classic duology. This is thanks to directors Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, whose detailed action choreography offers plenty of exciting moments throughout the film. In addition, other classic characters beyond Mike and Marcus are allowed to shine, giving the film its own identity while simultaneously paying tribute to the past installments.
