Nigerian On-Air personality Do2dtun has lamented the economic hardship and how it has taken a toll on begging.

In a post on his Instagram page, he noted how begging is now very hard as one would need special grace and extra skill. According to him, the economy has badly affected it as the format is already cast.

“Begging is now very hard. You will need grace and extra skill. The economy affected begging too. All the format don cast”.

In another post, he urged the public to develop a skill as education isn’t enough. He avowed that nobody will give one the barber chair except they find their own.

In another tweet, he noted how the cheapest meal is now expensive as he admonished his fans and followers to eat purposefully and avoid wasting food.

“Now it’s time to develop a skill as you get an education. You need both how. Nobody will give you the barber chair now o! Find your own.

The cheapest meal is now expensive. Eat with a purpose.
Don’t waste food. Food is Gold now”.

In his caption, he wrote, “E don red o! Let us not pretend. This one e don red. Account balance don red o! Shey na like this we go dey de?”.

Yoruba actress, Yewande Adekola Abiodun had also lamented bitterly over the price of a bag of Garri, which is being sold for N80,000. She noted how Garri used to be a poor man’s food, but now, it has become expensive.

During the festive period, last year, Mary Njoku had cried out over the hardship and state of the economy in the country, revealing that she went shopping and spent N100k at the supermarket, yet her trolley was not full.
