Carved Cast & Character Guide

The dark horror comedy Carved brings laughs and scares to a story about an unlikely serial killer, and it counts on the talents of a cast with known actors and other new talents. Based on the 2018 short film of the same name by Justin Harding, who returns as co-writer and director, Carved takes viewers back to Halloween night in 1993. Set in Cedar Creek Village, a “living museum” in Maine, Carved follows the village’s theater team and other employees who find themselves in the middle of a living nightmare when the carving contest goes horribly wrong.

An employee found a strange and abnormally big pumpkin in a field and his friend took it for the contest. What no one was expecting was for the pumpkin to come to life and start killing everyone at the contest. The survivors team up to come up with a plan to escape the village, get help, and, if possible, kill the pumpkin in the process. The cast of Carved brings together well-known young talents as well as new faces, all of them doing their best to survive a wild Halloween night.

Peyton Elizabeth Lee as Kira

Actor: Peyton Elizabeth Lee was born in New York City. Lee’s acting career started in commercials for different brands and had her first TV role in 2015 in one episode of Scandal. Lee broke big when she was cast as Andi Mack in the Disney Channel TV series of the same name. In 2019, Lee voiced Rani in Disney’s animated TV series The Lion Guard, starred as Princess Sam in Disney+’s Secret Society of Second-Born Royals, led the Disney+ TV series Doogie Kameāloha, M.D., and starred in Prom Pact, also a Disney+ project.

Actor: Wyatt Lindner is an American actor. Lindner’s acting career began in 2020, in the short film Tiger Eyes. Lindner had minor appearances in the TV series Little American and Titans, playing young Gar in the latter. Lindner’s biggest role to date is Preston in the 2024 sci-fi horror movie Afraid, followed by Hulu’s Carved.

Character: Trevor is Kira’s younger brother who struggles with anxiety. Trevor is very close to Kira and Cody, and he is part of the carving contest after Kira gives him her spot.

Corey Fogelmanis as Cody

Actor: Corey Fogelmanis was born in Thousand Oaks, California. Fogelmanis’ acting career began in 2011 in the short film The Maiden and the Princess, and after small roles in different TV shows, he was cast as Farkle Minkus in Girl Meets World, the son of Stuart Minkus and Jennifer Bassett. In 2017, Fogelmanis played Jasper Perkins in the TV series PrankMe, and in 2019, he played Andy in the horror movie Ma and Brett in the TV series Into the Dark. In 2023, Fogelmanis played Nathan Walter in the Netflix TV series My Life with the Walter Boys.

Sasha Mason as Maddie

Actor: Sasha Mason started her acting career in 2017, in the movie Novitiate. Mason was part of two short films after that, and in 2020, she appeared in one episode of Ozark, though in a very small role. In 2020, Mason was part of the short film The Cancel Club and in 2022 she appeared in Alexx Bean’s music video “H0P3 I DI3 YNG”. Carved is Mason’s biggest project to date.

Ted Ferguson as Arthur: a war veteran who escapes from the deadly carving contest. Ted Ferguson has had minor roles in a number of projects, his most notable one being Tropical Cop Tales, where he played Meechie Franks.

Matty Cardarople as Clint: the guy who finds the killer pumpkin and takes it out of the field and into the village.
