Doctors star Kia Pegg has reunited with her former co-stars in a series of adorable photos.

The actress, 24, plays receptionist Scarlett Kiernan in the axed BBC daytime soap, which will broadcast its final episode next month.

Director Niall Fraser confirmed last week that the instalment had been brought forward from an originally planned transmission in December.

‘Update for doctors fans. The final episode will now transmit on November 14th‘ he wrote on X.

‘There had been a scheduled break with final ep then being Dec 5th. The break was cancelled and it is now NOVEMBER 14th Apologies for the confusion.’

Filming wrapped at the show’s production base on the University of Birmingham’s Selly Oak campus in March.

At the time, Kia wrote on social media: ‘I shot my last scenes at the campus today so they filled it up with my favourite people.’

‘And as an added bonus, the last ever patient I roll my eyes at is my lovely mom.’

In reply to one fan, she confirmed that the final episode would star many behind-the-scenes staff as extras in the surgery: ‘They’re a good team. And that last episode is FULL of cameos.’

Metro understands that the sets have since been dismantled and the site handed back to the university.
