Chris Hemsworth is reportedly in talks to star in Disney’s Prince Charming. Disney recently announced the production of a Prince Charming movie, which will be based on the oft-used character archetype for male romantic leads in fairy tales. According to the initial report, Prince Charming would not directly tie-in to Cinderella. The film will be directed by Paul King, who is known for his work on Wonka as well as the Paddington movies. The script will be written by King, Simon Farnaby, and Jon Croker.

Per Deadline, Hemsworth is now in talks to play the titular role in Prince Charming. Disney has not commented directly to confirm Hemsworth’s involvement in the project. Other than Hemsworth, no other actors have been reported to be in talks for Prince Charming. The film’s plot is also still under wraps.
