Aggie Bailey (Lorna Laidlaw) has been away from Coronation Street for months now and in upcoming episodes, she delivers another update to her family.
The character was last seen on the cobbles during summer 2023, and due to the unexplained absence, many Corrie fans are still wondering if we will see her again.
In an episode broadcasted in November last year, Michael Bailey (Ryan Russell) revealed that Aggie wouldn’t be back with the family for Christmas, as she is currently looking after his poorly Auntie.
Most recently, after Ed (Trevor Michael Georges) gambling addiction saw a huge fire at the builder’s yard, he made the decision to leave Weatherfield to spend time with Aggie in Birmingham.
In upcoming episodes of the ITV soap, Michael shows Dee-Dee (Channique Sterling-Brown) a final demand letter which came through the post for Ed, and Dee-Dee is shocked to realise how much her dad still owes.
Perfectly timed, Ed then returns from Birmingham and breaks the news to Michael that Aggie has given him his marching orders, and won’t be returning home.
Michael offers his dad a comforting hug and quickly slides the letter out of site, but can the Bailey family raise the money to pay the bills?
And what will Ed’s life look like if Aggie never comes back?

Away from the news of Ed’s debts, Dee-Dee has a lot on her plate right now.
She is currently working with Roy (David Neilson) and hopes to find enough proof that he wasn’t involved in Lauren’s (Cait Fitton) disappearance but next week, she shares with Adam (Sam Robertson) and Alya (Sair Khan) that all the evidence is currently stacked against the cafe owner.
It’s not looking good – can Dee-Dee save Roy from time behind bars?
