Few if any cases give you pause from their sheer size, but Corsair has stopped us in our tracks at Computex with its new 9000D RGB Airflow. It’s hard to capture its enormity, in words or in photographs. Suffice to say, if you have to ask how big it is, you might not be able to fit into your setup. However, those daring enough to tackle this titan will relish the massive canvas it provides for builds of all shapes and sizes.

Corsair dubs 9000D RGB Airflow a “reprise” of its older 1000D case. While there are many similarities between the two in terms of their form factor, this spiritual successor of sorts boasts several unique features that will undoubtedly pique the interest of enthusiast builders. For starters, its ‘InfiniRail’ system does away with fixed fan placements. As such, with a speedy slide of a rail, you’ll be able to target airflow exactly where you need it.

9000D RGB Airflow supports reverse-cable motherboards out of the box, making for an exceptionally tidy finish as shown above. Looking at the two systems (yes, plural) put together by Corsair for Computex inside the case, the company has put the space to excellent use with 21 120mm fans, two reservoirs, and four radiators. Naturally, there is support for more conventional builds but it’s difficult to imagine putting together anything less than a proper showstopper inside this enormous chassis. Regardless of your ambitions, though, the included iCue Link System Hub that comes with every 9000D RGB Airflow will keep cable clutter at bay providing you use compatible fans.

Corsair hasn’t forgotten about those in search of a more accommodating home for their PC, both in terms of size and price, with its new 3500X case. This is the first panoramic mid-tower from the company, and it too supports reverse-cable builds. It’s available in three flavours, ‘3500X’, ‘3500X ARGB’ and ‘iCUE Link 3500X RGB’. As their names suggest, moving up the stack will net you RGB fans as well as a hub from which to control them.

3500X cases are available now, starting at £84.99 ($89.99). Meanwhile, 9000D will arrive later this year and we’ve no doubt that it’ll cost a pretty penny.
