Beaver Lab returned to Kickstarter this month to launch a new portable digital microscope called the Darwin M2. Designed to provide an accessible, affordable microscope that can be used by enthusiasts and family members. Darwin M2 is equipped with an IPS display that offers users brighter and more realistic colors compared to TN and VA panels.
With an RGB color depth of 24-bit, they can display 16.7 million possible colors, resulting in better color reproduction and wider viewing angles. In addition, IPS panels display minimal color shift even when viewed from different angles. With the inclusion of a 2.0 Megapixel CMOS sensor, the Darwin M2 microscope enables you to capture high-resolution videos and images at a resolution of 1920 x 1080. These images can be viewed on a PC or laptop at high resolutions and larger sizes without loss of image quality, allowing for more detailed examination and analysis of your samples .
Early bird deals are now available for the root project from around $69 or £55 (according to current exchange rates)is offering a deep discount of about 58% off MSRP, while Kickstarter crowdfunding is in progress.
