More DC Characters Revealed In Superman Set Photos
Corenswet’s Clark look isn’t the only thing to have been revealed in the latest batch of Superman set photos. Another iconic character who is joining the reboot is Jimmy Olsen, with Skyler Gisondo portraying the next live-action incarnation of Superman’s best pal. Through other set photos (via @ErikDrost,) the first look at Gisondo’s Jimmy has now been unveiled, as he is seen coming out of the same ship that Lois Lane and Perry White were seen leaving.
Also seen on the Superman set for the first time were Beck Bennett as Daily Planet sports reporter Steve Lombard, alongside Mikaela Hooever’s Cat Grant (via @HomeOfDCU,) who works at the paper as a gossip columnist. Another Daily Planet staff member who came out of the ship, too, was Christopher McDonald’s Ron Troupe (via @HomeOfDCU.) While Nicholas Hoult’s Lex Luthor wasn’t seen in costume, his assistant Eve Teschmacher, played by Sara Sampaio, was part of the Superman shooting (via @HomeOfDCU.)
It will be interesting to see how all of these characters come together in what is seemingly the final act of Superman, with Metropolis being under attack by a mystery threat. As Mister Terrific was also revealed through the recent Superman filming, time will tell if the world will get an early glimpse of Green Lantern, Hawkgirl, and Metamorpho. Hopefully, as Superman wraps filming, it won’t be too long until Gunn is ready to release the first trailer for the film.
