Sifting through the Amazon Spring Sale offers takes some doing. We’ve been keeping a beady eye on the best bargains, and just ahead of the weekend, we’ve identified a corker!
AMD’s mighty impressive Ryzen 9 7900X3D is, for the first time, available for under 400 bucks. Better still, this offer is applicable on both sides of the pond. Over in the US of A there’s a rather lovely 35% reduction, bringing the chip down to a cool $391. That’s the best price we’ve ever seen in the States, and UK shoppers are in for a similar treat.
Head over to Amazon UK and you’ll find 7900X3D available for £374. That’s nearly a 40% drop from AMD’s launch MSRP, making it a much more attractive proposition.
To recap, Ryzen 9 7900X3D is a 12-core, 24-thread powerhouse inherently suited to productivity. A 120W TDP makes it efficient by today’s high-end standards, and as an X3D variant, 128MB of bolstered L3 cache helps accelerate gaming tremendously. A 5.6GHz boost clock doesn’t hurt, either.
Put simply, there are few better consumer CPUs on the market today, and if you’ve been waiting to make the jump to AM5, today’s deal may well push you over the edge. This chip paired with, say, a Radeon RX 7900 GRE, makes for a stellar build.
