It’s not often Apple discounts its flagship smartphone, but we’re in luck. The brand’s iPhone 15 Pro Max has plummeted on Amazon UK across all variations, meaning you can get any colour or storage capacity cheaper.

With 8% off, the 256GB Blue Titanium iPhone 15 Pro Max starts prices at £1,099. It’s a touch more than its best price, which expired after the weekend but still saves you £100. You’ll pay slightly more for the same storage in other colours, but I’d argue everything’s better in blue anyway. If you prefer the monochrome look, Black, Natural, and White Titanium in 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB versions are also on the price chopping block.

Amazon Germany shoppers are fortunate enough to see record-breaking deals. 14% off Titanium Black 256GB puts the smartphone at €1,249, which is its lowest price ever. Elsewhere in Europe, you might save around 8%. Sadly, deals are a little slimmer across the Atlantic. 5% off an unlocked Titanium Black handset brings the price down to $1,058.90 on Amazon US.

If you trade in your current device, you can save up to a further €800 / $260. This depends on the value and condition of the handset you’re swapping for, but it stacks with the current deal. Amazon UK has its own trading deal, but the link is currently too temperamental for me to say how much it offers.

The device has one of the best cameras currently on the market, only rivalled by Google’s Pixel 8 Pro. With a Pro 48MP system featuring ultra-wide, main, and telephoto lenses, you can capture every moment with unprecedented detail. 0.5x, 1x, 2x, and 5x zoom keep you close to the action no matter how far you stand. The 12MP front-facing camera does the trick for selfies and Face ID biometrics, but you won’t want to switch from the rear-facing one often.

Apple’s A17 Pro chip makes every task feel smooth, leveraging the 6.7in 2796×1290 pixel Super Retina XDR display. It’s bright, colourful, and doesn’t come at the expense of battery life. Overall, you can expect around 29 hours of video playback before you need to juice it up. Through general use, you might even get away with a single night where you don’t recharge it.

Jumping ship from Android has never been easier, as iPhone 15 Pro Max uses a USB 3 charging cable. As part of its efforts to go green, Apple doesn’t bundle a charger in the box, but it’ll work with Type-C cables you have around the house.

The new port doesn’t come at the expense of durability, either, as it’s splash, water, and dust resistant. Don’t go dunking it, but a verified IP68 rating means you can submerge it in up to 6m of water for up to 30 minutes without damage. I’m not a scuba diver or anything, but this is reassuring, given my country’s known for rain.

If you’re interested in upgrading your smartphone, don’t hang around. It’s not clear whether this is a permanent price cut or a temporary one, but stock is dwindling. If you’re not completely happy with your new device, you can send it back using Amazon’s 30-day return policy for a full refund.
