EastEnders star Kellie Bright has urged her followers to watch a new show which features someone very close to her.
The Linda Carter actress, 48, shared a photo of herself with a framed photo of her former TV hubby Danny Dyer (Mick Carter) in character in his latest Disney Plus series Rivals.
The Disney Plus adaptation of Jilly Cooper’s 1988 novel also stars David Tennant, Aidan Turner, and many more.
‘Are you ready????’ former Strictly Come Dancing finalist Kellie penned.
‘#rivals starts tonight on @disneyplus I was lucky enough to see the first episode this week and it is SO BLOODY GOOD!!!!!
‘My dear @officialdannydyer is amazing in it and ROCKING a fabulous tache! Make sure you are watching tonight and then BINGE the box set.
Congratulating former EastEnders boss Dominic Treadwell-Collins, she concluded: ‘ Well done my very clever friend @dominictc.’
Over on Albert Square, it’s been a tough time for Linda – who stabbed Keanu to death on Christmas Day and, with the help of the rest of The Six, managed to frame Dean Wicks (Matt Di Angelo) for the crime.
However, things took a turn at Dean’s trial last month, when Dean attempted to prove that he had been framed by confessing to raping Linda in 2014.
With the whole case having fallen apart, Linda went to the police and confessed to murdering Keanu, but changed her story to keep the other women out of it.
With the police reluctant to believe her, Linda then revealed all to Bernie Taylor (Clair Norris), with the rest of The Six arriving to back up her claims.
A recent social media post from Kellie has left fans terrified her character Linda is leaving the soap.
Last week, it was reported that stars Maddy Hill and Danny Hatchard appear to be reprising their roles as Nancy and Lee Carter as they attend a funeral, presumably for a loved one.
Also in attendance at the funeral are Johnny Carter and Elaine Peacock (Charlie Suff and Harriet Thorpe) – though there is no sign of Linda Carter.
