The walls come crashing down around killer Reiss Colwell (Jonny Freeman) in EastEnders next week, as fresh evidence against him forces him to do a runner.

As fans know, Reiss smothered his comatose wife Debbie to death in her care home bed earlier this year in a bid to try and lessen his mounting debts.

Since then, he has let fiancée Sonia Fowler (Natalie Cassidy) go down for Debbie’s murder

Meanwhile, Sonia’s suspicious sister Bianca Jackson (Patsy Palmer) has been convinced of Reiss’ guilt and made it her mission to bring him down

But with her mental health unravelling as she tried to prove her sister’s innocence, Bianca’s dad David Wicks (Michael French) advised Reiss to take a break from the Square and she has had little to work with since.

However, Reiss is back in Walford next week, and arrives to find Bianca ensconced at No.25.

Things then get even worse when an excited Teddy Mitchell (Roland Manookian) reveals his private investigator has found CCTV from a warehouse near Debbie’s care home, which could help crack the case.

Bianca demands to come and see it, but Reiss manages to give her the slip. He then heads to the warehouse with Teddy and watches the footage alone.

Stunned by what he sees, Reiss then does a runner with the flash drive.

An angry Teddy informs Bianca that Reiss bolted from the warehouse, and she storms over to No.25 to demand answers, where a terrified Reiss has barricaded himself in.

But he can only hide for so long – and when Bianca eventually gets her hands on another copy of the footage, the stage is set for the mother of all showdowns…
