Emmerdale star Beth Cordingly has shared a loved-up snap with her real-life partner Ian Kelsey as they reunited after some weeks apart.
Ian recently returned home from a long trip to China, with the Ruby Fox-Miligan actress sharing an adorable picture of their reunion to Instagram.
In the caption, she simply wrote: ‘Yours.’
Emmerdale co-star Danny Miller, who plays Aaron Dingle, was quick to tease Beth for the loved-up post in the comments, writing: ‘Cute but considered unfollowing you after this.’
Fans were also quick to comment on the snap, with one writing: ‘Reunited at last.’
‘Love this, yous were definitely meant to be together,’ another said, while a third added: ‘Awww beautiful.’
Beth previously revealed how much she was missing her partner, writing: ‘Missing this beautiful face.’
Ian is also an Emmerdale legend, having starred as Dave Glover between 1994 and 1996.
One of his biggest storylines saw him embark on a steamy affair with the formidable Kim Tate (Claire King), before going on to marry Kathy Bates.
Ian and Beth have been together for three years, with the actress revealing that he was ‘very supportive’ when she landed her Emmerdale role, telling Metro that he gave her one solid piece of advice: ‘He told me not to bump into the furniture, which I do regularly!’.
She previously told The Mirror: ‘There is that thing as an actor where you are always taken away from home. But he totally gets it. He knows a lot of the crew and cast and so it’s lovely to be able to share what I’ve been up to, knowing he understands.
‘That’s important when you are away and he is always keen to find out how filming has gone each day.
‘We are both very supportive of each other’s careers which is important when it is such a competitive industry.’
Beth recently took to social media to celebrate Ian’s latest role, announcing that he was set to play Nikos in Mamma Mia The Party.
‘Literally beside myself with excitement over Ian Kelsey’s next job,’ she wrote.
Since joining Emmerdale, Beth’s character Ruby has been a busy bee, causing chaos wherever she goes.
Having finally called a truce with Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) after their extensive feud, Ruby committed the ultimate betrayal by sleeping with her husband, Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley), while she was undergoing brain surgery.
Like viewers, real-life partner Ian was horrified by the shock move, posting a video to Instagram revealing that he had been keeping up with the show in China and that he was keeping an eye on Cain and Ruby.
Next week, Emmerdale are set to air a special flashback episode that will explore Ruby’s childhood, following the arrival of her dad, Anthony Fox (Nicholas Day).
The flashback is triggered by Steph Miligan (Georgia Jay) finding a photo of Ruby on her 16th birthday. Ruby pretends she doesn’t remember, but it’s clear she remembers it as if it were yesterday.
Secrets of Ruby’s past will be revealed in the special episode – will we finally learn what happened to her?
